Pedro
Founder / CEO
Pedro is a United States Marine Corps veteran, serving a tour in Al Anbar, Iraq as an Machine Gunner. Pedro acquired and honed tactical skills while imploring integral leadership within his unit. Since his time in the service, Pedro has developed skills from over 10 years in IT security. Additionally, Pedro has spent several years working internationally to build strong working relationships with partner agencies to counter human trafficking efforts. Since stepping into this world, Pedro has awakened a deep seeded passion to ensure those experiencing exploitation are protected. This has brought Pedro to this place in life, founding For The One and working to protect those who cannot protect themselves.

Jason Ledford
Director
Jason attended UNC Chapel Hill receiving a BA in Psychology while becoming deeply involved with Campus Crusade for Christ and part of the leadership team. Graduating from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2004 with a Masters of Divinity degree with a concentration in Biblical Counseling. Jason spent 2.5 years serving as an Outpatient Therapist and Case Manager in eastern NC before taking a full-time ministry position in Winston-Salem. He has served in full time ministry since 2006 in lots of different capacities including Student Pastor, Discipleship Pastor, Church Planter/Lead Pastor, and now currently serve as one of the elders and a Location Pastor at Redemption Hill Church. Jason has been married for 23 years having five wonderful kids ranging in age from 9 to 19, with two awesome dogs named Xerxes and Rufus!

Rab
Director
Rab is operationally employed, which requires a low public signature. Rab immigrated to the U.S. as a teen, and committed his life to service of country and community. He has almost 20 years in military, and currently with the US Army. During his 18-year law enforcement career, Rab worked numerous specialized assignments including maritime, tactical and instructor safety roles. He has worked human trafficking investigations for almost 9 years. ***Some of our dedicated team is comprised of former military and law enforcement who are committed to putting an end to exploitation. Due to the sensitive and high-risk nature of fighting exploitation, it can remain necessary that specific identities must remain anonymous to mitigate any risk associated with this work. Thank you for your understanding.

Carrie Cotter
Director
Carrie brings extensive executive leadership experience in healthcare, serving in Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer roles where she has successfully led multi-million-dollar organizational turnarounds, modernized operations, and advanced value-based care initiatives. Her expertise in financial stewardship, strategic planning, and operational excellence provides valuable insight to For The One's mission and long-term sustainability. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Carrie is a devoted wife and mother of four who is passionate about serving others. She enjoys gardening and draws inspiration from her Central American heritage, which has shaped her commitment to compassionate leadership and community impact. Guided by resilience, collaboration, and practical innovation, Carrie is dedicated to helping organizations create lasting, meaningful change for those they serve.
