Hurricane Helene has brought catastrophic flooding, destroying entire communities across Western North Carolina. We know that the road to recovery is going to be a long one for all those affected and For The One is committed to coming alongside those specifically in Asheville, NC. 

 

For The One is partnering with a community based church in Asheville to provide needed supplies to the surrounding residents. Currently, a priority is to ensure children are able to begin attending school again. All donations for disaster relief will go directly to purchasing school supplies and  items of necessity for residents in Asheville. We know that immediate needs will shift over time and we will be responsive in adapting to meeting needs on the ground as things may change over time. 

 

The devastation is unimaginable for so many people and as an organization we are choosing to stand with our neighbors in North Carolina to ensure that they know we are here and we will continue to be here, walking alongside them.
